CECILE BRUNSWICK   Images   Bio   Karin Sanders Fine Art is pleased to present the abstract paintings of Cecile Brunswick. Inspired by the artist's worldly wanderings to Morocco, France, Mexico and across the United States - Brunswick's works are "the abstractions of my travels both physical and emotional." Her soft use of brilliant colors calms yet excites the pieces. The juxtaposition of warm and cool colors works exceptionally well in giving us a sense of climate as in the warmth of Morocco in the rich painting Tangiers Boat Abstract. Lively strokes are everywhere enhancing the movement within the paintings and guiding the viewer to the next stop while always giving us a place to rest our eyes. The artist's striking images bring us to a precious place in the world of abstraction. Brunswick's works are in numerous private and corporate collections around the world including Nestle, IBM and Pfizer. Her paintings are included in the collections of museums in Japan, Canada and Morocco. She has been featured on Moroccan television, ABC TV, and in publications such as Antiques and the Arts Weekly and Interior Design magazine.
